A super rustic restaurant with a very special and individual flair! There aren't many tables so make reservations in advance. Everything fits together in the restaurant. The food is world class (I've never eaten such a delicious pumpkin soup !!) and the service is really great too !! In my opinion, the price-performance ratio is absolutely right! It's a shame that I don't have something so delicious "around the corner"! (We were there on vacation)

Super cute, rustic restaurant with a very special flair. But everything fits perfectly and both the service and the food were excellent. Here everything is taken care of and the customer is definitely king :) I can heartily recommend it!

The Käsestube is located in the heart of Staufen. The way to the restaurant through the "Städtli" alone is incredibly beautiful. And then you enter this wonderfully enchanted inner courtyard with a rustic, decorative ambience through the gate of the vestibule. We ate in the courtyard when the temperature was pleasant and the weather was nice. The starter platter for one person is easily enough for 2, is very nicely arranged and really tasty. As an aperitif we had a champagne / berry cocktail. Delicious. We had to season the cheese fondue well and the cheese mass was not well bound. The oil separated from the mass too quickly. So only 4 stars. Not a large selection for dessert and what I tried was not a taste experience. Visiting the cheese parlor is still an experience.

A really great, romantic ambience in the inner courtyard, super delicious food and sooooo nice staff behind the glass pane (unfortunately, because of Corona self-service). But that didn't detract from the extraordinary culinary delicacy. I found the hodgepodge of antique espresso cups in which we were allowed to drink the best espresso in a long time very charming. We will be back.

Exceeded expectations. Food is absolutely great. Fresh, very tasty products. Have a short chat with the young boss who told us something about the origin of the products and their philosophy - just great. Seen in this way, the food is very cheap. Ambience is great too, so it doesn't matter that we had to wait 30 minutes for the starter. After all, we go out to have a good time and relax and not to be gone after an hour.

Highly recommended restaurant. The green, rustic and cozy inner courtyard invites you to sit outside, the tapas plate is full of delicacies and the goat honey tarte flambée is simply delicious! In addition there is very friendly and personable staff!

The food is very good. However, it was very cold in the dining room, not cozy at all. The doors were open (it's March) and it pulled in. We said we're cold. One door was closed, but it was the other that was completely open. After dinner we wanted to go home quickly, it was so cold.

Very comfortable, great atmosphere, very friendly staff, delicious cheese fondue, good wines - everything was perfect - gladly again!

Have us delivered the food ... spaetzle and salad were great! Tarte would have needed a bit ... but all in all good .... Supplier also really nice.

Insanely charming restaurant in the middle of the historic old town. On the menu are delicious cheese fondues and unusual raclette varieties as well as the best tarte flambées, tapas, salads and meat from the hot stone. So there is something for every taste and every weather. Inside historic vault, outside secluded courtyard, all tastefully decorated with attention to detail. A favorite place!

This is a lovely place at the old town where Faust is "living", after a nice stroll you end up here with some nice wine, cheese fondue, fresh made bread, friendly service at a very cozy spot.

Wonderful, romantic/elegant spot for delicious food! We were seated promptly (reservations recommended), the staff were friendly and responsive; we were served our tapas and fondue very quickly. The locally baked bread was excellent, as was all of the food. Very tasty local wine at a bargain price. We will be back.
